What do you do for a living?
I'm a graphic designer on paper but I'm pursuing the illustrator career and I'm trying to study in an art school next year.
Isn't illustration a difficult and competitive field to work in?
YES. IT IS.
How's going so far?
So so. Nobody gives me jobs and when they do, they don't pay. I NEED TO EAT!
Oh, so I need to pay you in order to have an illustration?
Yes, since it's my job, you have to pay me if you want me to draw you something.
Are commissions open?
YES!
What materials do you use for your illustrations?
For my traditional drawings I mostly use watercolors, ink and gouache on watercolor paper (300 gr.) I really like the Winsor and Newton brand both for colors and brushes and Arches for paper (IT'S THE BEST QUALITY!). When I illustrate something digitally, I use Photoshop and a Wacom Cintiq 13 HD, which is a VERY expensive draw tablet my parents gave me for my graduation last year.
